MAISON ROSE & JARDINIER
WELCOME TO
Hello,
We, Hoa (Rose), Vietnamese, commercial lawyer and Pierre (Jardinier), French, former specialist teacher, have decided to live a sustainable and ecological lifestyle. We chose to settle in a traditional H’mong house in the middle of the Muong Hoa valley, Ta Van village.
Situated 12km from the Sapa town, we live in a community with H’mong, Dzay, and the Red Dzao people, the air is pure, the mountains are beautiful and the Muong Hoa valley is surrounded by its magnificent rice terraces. This is a place where we hope to work and share our experiences with the ethnic communities, and to those who love the beauty of authentic living as we conceive it in our homestay.

“A fantastic stay in an admirable setting, a warm atmosphere and great serenity. A privileged place for walks alone along the river, through rice fields and bamboo forests. But you also have to indulge in off-the-beaten-track activities such as motorbike trekking or an excursion to the foot of a waterfall, tasting freshly bought salmon along the way on a farm. A big thank you to Rose and Jardinier for their warm welcome and their professionalism.”

“What an incredible stay! I traveled alone in November to Vietnam. I had the chance to stay with Rose and Pierre, 2 people who have big hearts and who we cannot forget! They took great care of me. The weather was starting to get colder and they did everything they could to ensure that I had a pleasant and warm stay (small fire, hot water bottle in my bed, small blanket, herbal tea).
I was able to discover very hearty and delicious typical Vietnamese dishes. They are very committed to ecology and the local environment. I loved sharing their ecological vision with them. Thanks to our long discussions by the fire, I learned a lot about Vietnamese culture.
They organized my entire stay in Ta Van: trek, aromatic herb bath, massage, batik workshop.
I recommend ! A huge THANK YOU!”

“A unique experience, in the middle of rice fields, surrounded by mountains, with two attentive and generous hosts. Home-cooked meals are a feast for the eyes and taste buds. Pierre's stories and explanations are captivating. Rose is of incomparable support in finding good deals. They have a welcoming place that suits them and where it is nice to stay for a few days. Thank you.”

“Thank you for this timeless parenthesis. We were able to discover Sapa and its culture from a different perspective.
We really liked the meetings with the different activities offered in an authentic way. The homestay is a very relaxing place. We received a very warm welcome and we thank you. We were able to learn a lot. Culture, ethnic groups, arts but also Vietnamese gastronomy. We wish you to continue to flourish in this project.”

“The small, cozy homestay makes visitors feel at home! Thank you Hoa & Pierre for the delicious meals and intimately shared stories over a cup of tea, a glass of delicious wine, and special cakes and jams. Everything is homemade by seasons. During two full days of interesting experiences, we learned more about the local culture and how Hoa & Pierre are dedicated to bring the clean and green lifestyle into daily life.”

“Thank you very much to Rose and Pierre for the warm welcome. The stay was unforgettable. The house and the 3 bedrooms are decorated with great taste and attention to detail. On the program of activities: the discovery of medicinal plants during a day-long trek then a hot bath, the batik class as well as all of Rose and Pierre's explanations on local culture. Without forgetting the moments shared around very good meals. Thank you again for your welcome and we wish you much happiness in this environmentally friendly project.”

“Simple homestay, renovated from a H'Mong house with the furniture made by the homeowner, Hoa & Pierre. They also prepare all meals from ingredients in the village or around the garden. All dishes are fresh and delicious. In the morning, we have breakfast with home-baked bread and homemade jam. In the evening, we drink homemade wine soaked with wild fruits. Our climbing group stayed one night, went climbing, then came back to stay another night, it felt like coming home.”
